Make Your Photos Super Sharp - Take Your Camera Tripod

Now is the time to take the camera tripod.

There is no way. If you want to take very sharp pictures, you sometimes have to register the camera tripod. You will not see many people with a tripod, and if you are thinking of buying a tripod, you will complain. Yes, it is a pain, but there is no pain, there is no profit, right?

You can be an excellent photographer and take many good pictures without a camera tripod. We wonder why you want to use one and what kind of camera tripod it is.

If you work in a studio or in a house, you can get the biggest, heaviest and highest place on the market. When traveling, things become complicated because the camera tripod, which does not collapse, weighs, is very high and costs a little, does not exist. It is a compromise. If you are looking for a camera tripod, they can be very expensive, especially if they are made of carbon fiber or exotic material. My current travel holder, Benro Travel Angel, is for records only. It is a Chinese model made of carbon fiber.

Here's the big question - Why take a travel tripod?

In my experience, there are three areas where you can take very sharp pictures with a travel tripod.

1. Without a travel tripod, you can't take a super sharp picture at all.

A classic example is night photography. Not long ago I was in the beautiful city of Budapest, with nocturnal pictures of Parliament, St Stephen's Basilica and Chain Bridge while the traffic flowed. I could have got a picture if I had increased the ISO settings for Canon DSLR, but I had no chance with the clear, sharp and clear images I was looking for. You can also choose the right exposure to capture the light paths of the cars that cross the bridge.

2. Without a travel tripod, you can't get enough Depth of Field.

You are out You are today. Sure you can get a decent picture. Why use a travel tripod?

Keep in mind that this series consists of ultra-light images that cause low ISO for low noise and fast shutter speed without oscillations. Some time ago I was in the famous stone forest near Beloslav in Bulgaria. There was a lot of light for the templates in my hand, but I quickly realized that I had a problem: I wanted to take my pictures so that they were clear, very close to the foreground and very far from the background.

This meant that he needed as much depth of field as possible. This meant using the smallest opening on my lens, F11, F16 and even F22. When I did, I realized that it meant quite long shutter speeds, too long to hold. Of course, the solution was to use a camera tripod.

With a camera tripod, I was able to set my camera's opening priority, set the smallest aperture to get sharp images and get the deepest depth without fear of shaking the camera. unit. It is, of course, a good idea to support all of this by using the self-timer, mirror lock or remote control to ensure that you do not move the camera.

3. Without a travel tripod, you can't control your camera for creative pictures.

The reason why a travel tripod is so useful for creative photography is that it has two basic features: the first option and the obvious is to keep the camera stable. Another feature is that you can place your camera for the best possible composition and focus and record multiple images with different settings at the same angle.

An obvious reason for this is the exposure bracket, which means that you have to take several pictures with slightly different exposures to select the best images. It is better than the current position does not change.

But the creative possibilities are perhaps more interesting: Let's look at an important area: movement. How can we capture the movement of an image?

There are many ways, but one is to use one, two, three seconds or more. If we can keep the camera loose, you get an image that contrasts the super sharp portion of the image with blurred areas.

When we try to keep the camera, everything is out of focus. A typical example is the photograph of running water, sea waves, a river or a waterfall. Here you set up the lightweight tripod, gently mount it and then try different shutter speeds to achieve the desired effect. On each picture, the rocks, the tree trunks, the coast will be very clear, but the water will become blurred. You can choose the photos you prefer.

There are other reasons to use a travel tripod that I will talk about later, but a travel tripod is an important accessory for the creative photographer.

In Summary:

Some pictures you can't take without a camera tripod.

But some pictures you can take are not so clear without a camera tripod.

Some images require a travel tripod if you want creative effects.
